$80
per completed 30-minute call — flat, per call, no tiers.
PE PARTNER PROGRAM — FOR LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS
scadUP Home (HX) helps homeowners understand their construction and renovation plans. When they upgrade to a Premium review, they get a 30-minute video call with a licensed PE. That's you. You earn $80 per completed call, take only the calls you want, and work from anywhere.
01 / HOW IT WORKS
A 10-minute application: your name, license number, state(s), and disciplines.
We confirm your PE license is active with your state board. Most verifications complete quickly; some require a short manual review.
Link your calendar and set the hours you're willing to take calls. You control your availability entirely.
Homeowners on the Premium plan book 30-minute video consultations. You review their plans and our AI-generated report beforehand, then answer their questions live.
$80 per completed call, paid out on a regular schedule as an independent contractor.
02 / WHAT A CALL LOOKS LIKE
Before each call, the homeowner has already received a plan review from scadUP Home, including an AI-generated report that flags potential issues and questions. Your job on the call is what software can't do: apply licensed professional judgment, explain what matters and what doesn't, and tell the homeowner what to ask their contractor or building department.
You are not stamping anything on these calls. You are not issuing a sealed opinion. You are a licensed professional giving a homeowner 30 minutes of informed guidance.
03 / EARNINGS
$80
per completed 30-minute call — flat, per call, no tiers.
~$160/hr
equivalent of call time at back-to-back calls — an illustration, not a promise of volume.
$0
to join. No platform charges. You earn on completed calls; that's it.
How many calls you actually take depends on demand in your states and the availability you set, so we don't promise volume and we won't quote you an "average monthly income" — no such average exists yet, and we won't invent one. All per-hour figures on this page are illustrative equivalents of the flat $80-per-call rate, not earnings guarantees.
04 / THE STAMPING OPPORTUNITY
Many homeowners who book a Premium call discover they actually need stamped drawings — for a permit, a structural modification, or a lender. When that happens, you can offer them a Stamping Package directly: full reviewed-and-stamped drawings, typically in the $800–$1,500 range depending on scope.
YOUR CLIENT, YOUR STAMP
The engagement is between you and the homeowner. You set the scope, you do the work, you seal it under your own license and professional responsibility.
THE PLATFORM FACILITATES
We handle the introduction, scheduling, payment collection, and paperwork. For that, scadUP takes a facilitation fee of 20–35% of the package price — so you keep 65–80% (the exact rate is set in your partner agreement and depends on package tier).
YOU KEEP THE RELATIONSHIP
Repeat work, referrals, and follow-on engagements from that client are yours.
For many partners, the $80 calls are the top of a funnel that leads to full-fee professional engagements — a client pipeline without marketing spend. Package price ranges above are typical scenarios, offered as illustrations; actual scope, pricing, and volume are set case by case and are not guaranteed.
05 / WHO QUALIFIES
06 / FAQ
You are, as the licensed professional — the same as any consultation you give in practice. scadUP provides the software, the AI-generated report, and the introduction; it does not share or assume professional liability for your opinions. This is why we recommend E&O coverage. (The full allocation is in the partner agreement — have your attorney review it.)
For the 30-minute Premium call, the homeowner is scadUP's customer and you are performing services for scadUP as an independent contractor. For a Stamping Package, the homeowner becomes your client directly; scadUP only facilitates.
$80 per completed call, paid out on a regular schedule to the payout method you set up during onboarding. Stamping Package payments are collected by the platform and remitted to you minus the facilitation fee.
Completely. You set your available hours, you can pause availability any time, and you can decline any booking. There are no minimums.
We check your license number against your state board's public records (automated where the state provides a lookup, manual review otherwise). We re-verify periodically to confirm your license remains active.
It's an automated plan-review summary generated before the call so you and the homeowner start from the same page. It is informational only: it is not an engineering opinion, it is not sealed, and it does not replace your judgment. You are free to disagree with it on the call — that's the point of the call.
scadUP doesn't currently require E&O insurance for consultation calls, but we strongly recommend it, and it is your responsibility. If you offer Stamping Packages, carrying E&O appropriate to sealed work is standard professional practice.
You're an independent contractor, not an employee. You'll receive a 1099 for your earnings and you're responsible for your own taxes, including self-employment tax. Consult your accountant — this page is not tax advice.
Yes. You choose which bookings to accept, and our conduct standards protect you as much as the homeowner. Abusive or out-of-scope calls can be ended and are still treated per the no-show/cancellation rules in your agreement.
You can serve homeowners in any state where you hold an active license. During onboarding you list your licensed states, and we only route you calls from those states.
